Everybody starts somewhere

I often find myself critiquing my life, and the progress I make. I feel I’m not moving fast enough, or not improving as I should be. I often forget that I have grown so much, and have improved not only in how I decorate my home, but within my life. A few years ago, I was living in the basement of my moms house, and was pretty miserable with life. I painted the walls in my bedroom blue, and felt the same. I was always stuck in my room, and spent a lot of time alone. For years, my style was the same. I never strayed from blue walls, and never really thought about home decor. I always had my room cozy, but it was never really homey. When I turned 18, I had outgrown the blue walls & painted them a neutral colour. I went shopping with my mom, and we got faux plants, cozy throw pillows, and cute home decor. We redid my room, and it continuously has changed since. I finally had my room perfect, and it became an oasis. I moved out a few months later, and into my very first place. I’ve lived here just under 8 months, and it’s been an amazing experience. Interior design has become an incredible passion in my life, and I continue to pursue this passion on a daily basis. I’ve started to inspire some of my Instagram followers as well, which is just so amazing to me! I’m so grateful for how much I’ve grown these past few years, and even in the last few months.
