For as long as I can remember, I have been insecure of my body, and often hid behind plain clothing. I avoided clothes that would be too bright, too eye catching, and too frumpy. If you see me out in public, I’m usually wearing black leggings, and a black jacket. I don’t often get outside of my comfort zone, but when I do, I’m usually worrying about how I look, or that my stomach isn’t flat enough.
Although I normally wear all black, there is the occasional time that I do take pride in my outfits, and feel excited to wear new clothing that I feel confident in. I often drag my fiancé outside on nice days to take photos of my outfits, and then I’ll share them to Instagram. I don’t really have any meaningful tips for how to dress as a curvy girl, other than to have fun with it. Try to remember that everyone is worrying about what they look like, and they’re usually too busy to worry about you, too.
