My Favourite reading nook

There’s something special about those cold fall days, where you curl up inside with slippers & a tea. You watch the rain drops fall down the window pane, and feel so incredibly grateful for this little nook in the corner of your home.

I’m so thankful for this little spot. It’s most certainly the coziest area in my home, and I often lay on my couch just admiring the golden sun mirrors & the cozy boho pillows. I instantly feel warmth when I look at this nook, and love sharing it with my followers on Instagram. When I first moved into this basement suite, my sister had lived here & had the TV set up in the corner. The day I moved in, I changed everything. I brought out her mantle fireplace & put the TV on top, and then I added natural greenery all around. A few weeks went by, and I discovered this gorgeous chair from IKEA. A girl I followed on Instagram shared it on her own story, and luckily my mom was in Vancouver at the time, and went to IKEA to pick it up for me. I had the chair within a day, and set up this nook instantly! Throughout the summer of 2020, it had great bushy plants surround it, and a few mirrors behind.

Summer came & went, and suddenly the weather changed to fall. I welcomed this change, and decorated my home for the season. I placed a fluffy blanket along the arm, and added a letter board with a cute fall saying. I then added some pumpkins & faux fall leaves to the window sill. This changed the entire look so effortlessly, and inexpensively.
